Since we moved into the House in 2006, we have been renovating and updating the interior. Each of the bedrooms has been redesigned and decorated and furnished where possible with original pieces, with the addition of fabulous Relyon beds to ensure a comfortable stay. Double rooms all boast King sized beds, with the Honeymoon suite having a 7 foot 'Emperor' Four Poster bed.
This Winter the House Ante Room is having it's wallpaper changed to bring the garden into the House and the final bedroom, the Temple Suite will be finished, meaning we have 11 bedrooms for our guests to choose from.
In Spring 2008, the lovely artist Tom is returning to Norwood to finish the fresoes and Trompe l'oeuil in the main Gallery. This project has been 10 years in the pipeline and we are delighted his original work can finally be completed.
Opening the House Dining Room to guests in 2008 will allow up to 24 guests to enjoy breakfast over looking the Gardens and Lake the morning after, and makes provision for business meetings during the week.
We are also opening the House in spring for midweek retreats. Enjoy a day of relaxation, walking around the Park or simply chilling out in the House with Laura providing beauty therapy. For residents, she can come to you to enjoy complete relaxation in the privacy of your own room.
Norwood is a lived in, working House and offers something unique. Come and see for yourself.
